Fish on Land:
Bring your rod & reel,
or rent one! For those who want to stay on land, try the Sunset Beach fishing
pier located at Sunset Blvd. & Main Street next to the island's gazebo. Unlike all other fishing spots around town, you don't need a fishing license to fish from the pier. They have one that covers all fishermen, no matter your age.
The boat ramp that was located near our island's swing bridge is closed. If you are bringing your own boat, or other watercraft, you may launch it at nearby Ocean Isle Beach under the bridge or at one of these other boat ramps:
Lloyd's Oyster House at Shallotte Point (910-754-6958) - $5/boat, $4 for extra cars
Tripp's Boat Yard at Shallotte Point (910-754-6985) - $5/boat, $4 for extra cars
Underneath the Little River Bridge - US-17 going south towards North Myrtle Beach. FREE with plenty of parking.
Deep Sea Fishing / Charter Boat Trips:

Boat Rentals:
The best place in town to grab a boat or jet ski for a day is the Ocean Isle Fishing center. They offer powered fishing boats, jet skis, kayaks, and even paddle boats to cruise up and down the intracoastal waterway. Schedule your next parasailing adventure through them! The Ocean Isle Fishing center offers deep discounts through our PERKS CLUB and is located right beside the Odell Williamson bridge going onto the island of Ocean Isle Beach.
