Area Airports Near Sunset Beach

For those not very familiar with the southern Brunswick Islands, one may not realize there are three airports within an hour's drive of both Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach.

Myrtle Beach International Airport is conveniently located within a 50 minute drive of Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Want to fly your own plane to the beach? The Odell Williamson Municipal Airport is lcoated on the mainland of Ocean Isle Beach, just across the bridge from the island. Here you can receive flight lessons or sign up for a scenic flight tour of the area. The Odell Williamson Municipal Airport also offers a 24 hour pilot's lounge.
