At some point, it's bound to happen. You are enjoying the beach vacation you've waited for all year long and it begins to rain. Don't be sad, there are plenty of nearby activities to provide you with entertainment!

Ingram Planetarium - The Ingram Planetarium located on the mainland of Sunset Beach is fun for the whole family, from films about dinosaurs, learning about the constellations visible under the sky on Sunset Beach, to Laser light shows set to some of your favorite bands, there is something for everyone. Admission to the Planetarium is $9 for adults, $7 for children with ages 2 and under being free.

That doesn't stop Summertide Adventure Tours from leading a group of paddlers on tours of Bird Island, Tubbs Inlet, a Twilight Tour or even a kayak Fishing tour! So if a little rain won't stop you from being outside, give them a call or visit them online to reserve your spot today. Mention at time of booking that you will be staying with Sunset Properties (providing proof with your rental key during the day of your tour) to receive a special Perks Club discount.
Planet Fun - Located in Shallotte with a bowling alley, an award winning restaurant, laser tag, a full arcade, and indoor putt putt Planet Fun is a place you can spend an entire rainy and not run out of things to do!
